BEHIND THE BORDERS
Our debut album Behind the Borders was released back in 2022. When we wrote the title track ‘Behind the Borders’ we knew we were onto something new and different than we had done earlier.
The harp and electric guitar still played a big part in it, but we also dived into the world of synths and samples which was really exciting for us.
This song along with ‘Come Back Love’, which is a very intimate song, and the cinematic ‘Sanctuary’ formed the backbone of this album where we carefully arranged and produced the other songs around.
Behind the Borders holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope it will in yours too.

EQUANIMITY
For some time we had the idea of creating an instrumental EP or album, but never prioritized it above the other songs we wrote. But when Sophie suddenly wrote ‘Clarity of Thought’ on piano, which appears on the album in a more gentle ambient arrangement, it gave a sense of direction.
‘Rivers’, an ambient guitar gem that communicates with the song ‘Oceans’ which was an instrumental on our album ‘Behind the Borders’. Just like the movement of water, this song was written and recorded in one flow.
‘Into the Cold’ showcases a more energetic and vibrant side of the album where Sophie’s harp plays a leading role. It was written after a dive in a cold water lake during winter. The energy of this experience resonates throughout the song.
The album balances between cinematic, ambient and post-rock and captures songs with themes we put into melodies and atmospheres. The album was released in 2024.
